Configure inventory collection to collect the inventory from the virtual desktop, either immediately after RAC or when the user logs in after RAC. Inventory collection helps you verify whether all the software applications are re-installed.

Configure inventory collection to collect the inventory from the virtual desktop, either immediately after RAC or when the user logs in after RAC. Inventory collection helps you verify whether all the software applications are re-installed.
Follow these steps:
- Navigate to Control Panel, Configuration, Configuration Policy, Default Computer Policy, DSM, Software Delivery, Agent.
- Select the RAC: Collect Inventory After Re-install configuration policy and set the value to one of the following attributes:
- NoSpecifies that the inventory is not collected after re-installation, but during the normal run of AM agent that can run after RAC or before RAC.
- ImmediatelySpecifies that the inventory is collected immediately after the software re-installation. Reports the re-installed software as part of software inventory and client device information such as IP, MAC address, and host name only after the user log on.
- After User LogonSpecifies that the inventory is collected only when the user logs in after RAC. The re-installed software and client device information are reported after the user logs in.
