Q1 2021 Release Notes

These notes provide pertinent information regarding features, changes, and defect fixes that were periodically released to
Rally
 from January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021.
Hardware and software requirements, compatibility, and known issues for the
Rally
 Enterprise and Unlimited Editions during this time period are also provided in the main Release Notes.
We have updated the
Rally
 UI. Information in these release notes refers to the new UI.

Milestones Artifacts Collection View

In the Artifacts collection, when you remove a work item type from your list view, fields that are solely associated with that work item type will no longer be visible. This includes columns in your view as well as fields you can choose to show or filter by.

Link Existing Available from Risks and Test Cases In-Context Editor

You can select
Link Existing
 in addition to
Add New
 when viewing the in-context editor for a risk or test case. Learn more.

Cycle Time Report Date Range

If your timebox duration is set to 13 months, the full span will display on the chart. Learn more.

Adding the Color Field

Use the Color field to change the icon color of a work item. The color can represent anything important to your organization, such as the story owner, the related project, or milestones.
You can now add and update the Color field to cards on board pages. Learn more.

Watching Multiple Work Items

You can now select more than one work item in a list and choose
Watch All Work Items
 from the toolbar. Learn more.

Viewing Dependencies

Predecessors and Successors are now sorted onto different tabs in the Dependencies collection. Learn more.

Viewing Connections and Changesets

Connections and Changesets are now sorted onto different tabs in the Connections collection. Learn more.

Updating the Schedule State

Within list views, you can update the schedule state of a work item by selecting the corresponding schedule state box or by selecting a value from the drop-down list.

How Users Authenticate

Rally
 help now includes a section on user authentication. Learn more.

Customer Managed Keys (CMK)

The CMK setup process now includes optional key leasing. Learn more.
